Lilith is the Dark Goddess energy inside us all and describes our orientation towards themes regarding sexual repression, authenticity and living ones own individual truth regardless of what time or culture we may find ourselves raised in. Lilith is the the rightful "bitch" that rises up and demands equality, to be heard and to have her fair share. This Goddess does give a single thought to what she herself is thought of. This is a selfish part of ourselves that can, if not managed and disciplined with a proper understanding can take over, become unbalanced and see us the victims of selfishness and anger. This is a powerful force within the collective unconscious and I believe that her themes are becoming more conscious, rising up from the mysterious dark where we hide our sordid judgments to become part of the accepted, conscious self. We are seeing the dawning of the age of the enlightened Lilith. This translates of course to the opportunity for humanity to merge the dark with the light, to finally free ourselves from the chains of perception based judgments. This is a rocky precipice for many that can translate into the most mind bending of paradigm shifts. Being willing to be alone is the ability to truly love. Women with Lilith prominent have a wild nature. They are sex. Sex on her terms is the only way she is willing to have it. Women with this energy heavy with them are charged with the forced choice to be alone instead of loved. When we say what others do not want to hear we risk being ostracized. The lesson in this is that if one finds they are not loved, they are able to survive it and even flourish! Leaving your own garden, feeling forced because you are not accepted in your wholeness after realizing you have had to compromise and woken up from the robotic experience of conventional life. This is often the experience for women with a prominent Lilith. This challenge is often brought on through an environment that inhibits growth related to hearing hard things or things that challenge ingrained beliefs. One must decide what is most important...you or him (them)? Being willing to be alone is the ability to truly love. Accepting that you can be real or that you can be loved is a hard thing that demands a necessary choice. The attention you receive and the respect you gain is the reward for being brave. Discovering that you have no master leads to necessarily accepting responsibility for your own life. In giving society the finger, you give yourself the permission to be free and whole and not beholden to the standards of any outside entity. Lilith owned it. We must also become brave enough to potentially be alone if we are to truly own ourselves. Discovering that you have no master leads to necessarily accepting responsibility for your own life. This brings the confidence that others who must remain attached to blame and also to others out of fear do not have. You may not be loved, but you are free from the need to be loved. There are three Liliths that comprise the energy of the triple Moon Goddess and the stages of the transformation this dark Goddess underwent through the travails of her story. Where which one of these Dark Goddesses shows up in your chart can show where you get stuck or have a strength regarding that stage of the Lilith myth.
